Sri Lanka beat India in super 4 game with 6 wicket, Sri Lanka who lost the opening game against AFG in group stage now look completely different team beating tournament favorite India.

At the start of the tournament we all hoping and almost certain that India and Pakistan will play final of the tournament but those dreams are well and truly gone as India or Pakistan only one of the team can qualify for the final

India should be very disappointed with result of the 2 game in the super4.

so what’s gone wrong ?

India was in very good form coming into Asia cup beating England and WI in white ball series but then what happen in multination tournament??

Rohit Sharna said that they are 90 to 95 % settle but some question Indian team need to answer before massive opening game against Pakistan at T20 WC on 23rd October .

India Cleary struggle to defend decent total in both the game Bhuvneshwar Kumar goes for plenty in 19th over in both the game
Hardik Pandya is not your death bowler by any means nor any spinner bowl at the end overs. Indian team missing their premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and hoping to see him fit before the WC, that will help young Arshdeep Singh who i thought absolute brilliant in the last over
in both the game defending 7 runs.

Who is your finisher??
Dinesh Kartik is in the team for a specific role to finish the inning on the high but he was not the part of the team.
Deepak Hooda is not the guy you want in that role same goes with Rishabh Pant he has not convert his potential in to performance in T20I.

Ideal combination for the WC??
India goes with only 2 frontline fast bowler and Hardik Pandya in last 2 game as Avesh Khan was not available for selection due to sickness.
There is no other fast bowler in the squad that to me is quite a bizarre,
you can not put so much pressure on Hardik Pandya to bowl those tough overs and score the runs at the same time.

I am hopeful that India will find this answer quickly because there is not much time left in WC.

Yes we have very good team but one thing we need to accept and improve is we are not doing well in multination tournament that is for me is a very big worry.
