Asia cup is starting from 27th August with Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan ,but all eyes are set on 28th August as India will take on arch rival Pakistan in Dubai.
Fans are always excited to see India and Pakistan lock horns against each other on cricketing field.
Last time India and Pakistan played against each other was in last T20 WC in Dubai . First time in the history Pakistan was able to beat India in world T20 game that too with 10 wicket. That make this match even more special where Pakistan will be full of confidence with their win against India in WC where India will be looking to bounce back.
Biggest threat for India will be No 1 T20 batsman and captain of Pakistan Babar Azam and his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan. India will be hoping that Virat Kohli will score some run and regain the form as he is the biggest match winner for team India.
In bowling department India and Pakistan both are without their premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Shaheen Afridi are out due to injury.
India has adopted this aggressive approach in T20 cricket since the last T20 WC , it will be interesting to see how they go about their business
in the big game like this where pressure is well and truly on.
India and Pakistan both are in group A with Hong Kong , in most likely scenario both India and Pakistan will go through to super 4 and will clash again on 4th September this will be even bigger game.
India and Pakistan don’t play the bilateral series any more so excitement level is very high it will be great fun as they will play 2 games at least and if both qualify for the final it will one hack of a final.
Just for reminder India will take on Pakistan in upcoming T20 WC in Australia on 23rd October at MCG.
