There is always a debate in cricketing world for future of 50 over cricket.

Is ODI cricket is to long for people to watch?,
Is there any need to make any changes to the format??

People say test cricket is the purest format of the game T20 is most excited format but what about ODI??

As a commentator one-day cricket is a drag now, scrap ODIs permanently

In my view ODI cricket is the most complete format of the game you need all type of skill to succeed.

In first powerplay as opening batter if ball is swinging and seaming you need to have good defense and technique to survive.

In middle order you need to have ability to rotate the strike and have the skill to play the big shot when required.

Same goes for the bowler you have to ball different length depends on condition and use the variation when required.

In T20 one over can change the complexion of the game in ODI team have chance to come back in the game.

if you go for plenty in powerplay team can bounce back once field is spread.

every time there is discussion on ODI cricket it has deliver.

just check the last 2 game of India against WI produce last over thriller.

There is so much cricket played this day all over the glob
all the player can not play the game all the time to manage their work load player decide to give up any format as per their strength

that doesn’t mean we ask the question on future of ODI cricket.

If you want to ask question ask them to people who make such hectic schedule that force the player to make choice.

For me ODI cricket is absolute fine and running yes
bilateral series can be tough to watch at time especially against weak opposition but Triangular WC ,Asia cup are great to watch as a fan
stop talking and worrying and enjoy this great format of the game.
